A time to 'STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS...'

we all rushed out of that graduation march in the summer of '59 full of youthful idealism and great expectations of what the world had in store for us. many had clear visions of the road ahead, while others struggling with fuzzy images hacked their own trail every foot of the way to survive in the jungle called reality!
its 50 years later...and what a journey it has been! this is not a time to look around and compare how well others have done, for there will always be greater and lesser persons than ourselves.
its the 'time to stop and smell the flowers...' to meet old friends, talk about our journey thru life, show photos of the children and grandchildren, take a deep breath and visualize the words of Louis Armstrong..." i see trees of green, red roses too...and i say to myself what a wonderful world!"
